The expectations for Module #1 Program Evaluation Design are:

Step #1. Select and describe program context: 

Identify a social program that you would like to evaluate. Describe the focus of the program, size of staff, goals, resources, community demographics, and other details important to conducting a program evaluation. 

I will be evaluating the Global Learning Initiatives at the college I work at. The college offers a social context of having students deployed to different countries in the world to implement community change such as ecotourism, farming assistance or building schools. The goals of the program are to have students establish a global perspective of assisting those in need with their Canadian educational skill sets and provide community building community wealth. I would like to evaluate the staff of the following:

-how do they choose the country in need

-how do they recruit the students to go to the designated locations

-what criteria determines a successful candidate?
